What’s new?
Peer-to-Peer allows you to host the game yourself without having to wait for a dedicated server. This should improve your overall gameplay experience.
What is Peer-to-Peer?
Essentially, when you host a game, you act as the server. Anyone who connects to your game joins as a client.
What does this mean for your friends?
Not much, except they may load in faster, since they’re no longer connecting to a dedicated server that takes time to load.
What if you’re playing solo?
You’ll be able to jump in much faster. Start your game and begin heisting quicker than before.
P.S. If you’re already in-game when the update goes live, you might encounter some UI issues. If that happens, simply restart your game.
